Terms & Conditions

Plain English, no small print. Last updated October 2026.

For everyone

  • Tryvo helps people find and run local activities. We don't run the activities ourselves — each provider is responsible for their own sessions.
  • Be kind and respectful. Bullying, harassment, hate, threats or abuse of any kind means your account can be removed.
  • Tryvo is neutral. No political, religious or ideological promotion is allowed.
  • Give honest, accurate details and keep your password private.
  • If something feels wrong, use Report abuse. Reports can be anonymous and go straight to our admins. In an emergency call 999.
  • We use your details only to run Tryvo — bookings, reminders, safety and anonymous impact numbers. We never sell your data.
  • You can ask us to delete your account at any time.
  • We may update these terms. If anything important changes, we'll tell you in the app.

Young people (11–18)

  • You must be aged 11 to 18 to book as a young person.
  • If you're under 16, a parent or guardian must OK your bookings.
  • Book only what you plan to go to, and cancel if you can't make it so someone else gets your place.
  • Follow the leader's instructions and the venue's rules so everyone stays safe.
  • Any medical, allergy or accessibility details you add are only shared with leaders of sessions you book.
  • Ratings and comments must be honest and polite. Comments go privately to the organiser.

Parents and guardians

  • By approving a booking you give consent for your child to take part in that activity.
  • Keep your contact details, and your child's medical and accessibility details, up to date.
  • You're responsible for getting your child to and from sessions unless the provider says otherwise.
  • You can see your child's bookings, consent status and provider contacts in the Family Hub.

Activity and service providers

  • You're responsible for your sessions, including safeguarding, risk assessments and suitable insurance.
  • Anyone leading sessions with under-18s must have appropriate DBS checks and follow safeguarding good practice.
  • Listings must be accurate. Listings and key changes are reviewed by Tryvo before going live.
  • Free activities must be free for everyone — no charges, extras or paid upgrades on a free listing.
  • Attendee details (names, medical, accessibility and parent contacts) are confidential. Use them only to run the session safely, never for marketing, and never share them.
  • Promotions only show you anonymous totals. Targeting never uses gender, race, religion or politics.
  • Paid promotions are charged as shown at checkout and aren't refundable once messages have been sent.
  • Tryvo may pause or remove listings that break these terms or put young people at risk.
